My kids wished the towels by the pool were larger for easier drying off. They said it would be great to have some larger, thicker towels instead of the smaller ones provided.

I absolutely loved my stay, especially the breathtaking views of the St Clair River from my room. The staff were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome with their warm cookies at check-in. I also enjoyed the relaxing hot tub and the spacious rooms. However, I wish there were more dining options available during late hours.

The location offers beautiful views of the St Clair River, perfect for anyone needing a scenic backdrop. The indoor pool and fitness center provide good options for relaxation and exercise, with a spacious gym that’s well-equipped for workouts.

Noise can be a big issue, especially if you land a room above an event like a wedding. I could hear the DJ blaring until late at night, making for a less than peaceful stay. The bathrooms could use some thought. while the decor seems modern, the toilet fixtures feel awkward and not user-friendly. Also, I noticed one of the elevators was out of order, which adds a bit of hassle when you’re hauling luggage. Lastly, while I appreciate the welcome cookies, it would be nice to have non-nut options too since not everyone can indulge in those types.

This place was a commendable fit for a trip in Port Huron with fantastic value for money. The location is beautiful, right next to the river and perfect for walks.

I had a fantastic time enjoying amazing views of the Bluewater Bridge and the St Clair River from my King Room! The warm welcome cookies at check-in were such a good surprise that instantly. Plus, the on-site Freighters restaurant served some great food

Doubletree By Hilton offered a pleasant stay with a beautifully remodeled interior and comfortable rooms. I appreciated the welcome cookies upon arrival, which added a nice touch to my check-in experience. The staff was professional and friendly. The location provided stunning views of the St Clair River, perfect for my work needs, and the business center had the necessary amenities for my productivity.

There was a musty odor in the room initially, but it dissipated after using the air conditioning.

Oh, let’s talk about those fries from R&B's Fries! They're a game-changer! And working at the hotel kept things smooth with friendly staff and warm cookies to sweeten your check-in. Plus, the pool was always clean for a refreshing dip after exploring the area!

But, I found it odd that there weren't vending machines for some late-night munchies—like snacks and drinks—after the restaurant closed. That could’ve made my stay even better!

The hotel had a lovely atmosphere and a great view of the water, making for a relaxing stay. However, the breakfast was underwhelming for the price, and there were issues with cleanliness that were disappointing. Overall, a nice stay but with room for improvement.

The King Room with View offered stunning sights, and the staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. Dinner at the Freighters restaurant exceeded expectations, with excellent service and delicious hand-cut beef tartare. However, the room cleanliness was disappointing throughout the two nights. The check-in experience felt a bit disorganized, and I noticed noise from outside during the night, which disturbed my sleep.
